Setiap naskah yang dikirimkan ke Journal of Innovative Information Systems (JIIS) akan melalui proses review untuk memastikan kualitas, orisinalitas, dan kontribusi ilmiah artikel. Proses review dalam jurnal ini menggunakan metode Double-Blind Peer Review, di mana identitas penulis dan reviewer tidak saling diketahui untuk menjaga objektivitas penilaian.

Proses penelaahan naskah dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan sebagai berikut:

  1. Submission
    Penulis mengirimkan naskah melalui sistem jurnal (OJS).
  2. Initial Review by Editor
    Editor melakukan pemeriksaan awal terkait kesesuaian naskah dengan fokus dan ruang lingkup jurnal, kesesuaian template, serta pemeriksaan plagiarisme.
  3. Peer Review Process
    Naskah akan dikirim kepada minimal 2 reviewer yang memiliki keahlian sesuai dengan topik penelitian.
  4. Review Decision
    Reviewer akan memberikan rekomendasi:
    • Accepted
    • Minor Revision
    • Major Revision
    • Rejected
  5. Revision Stage
    Penulis melakukan revisi berdasarkan komentar reviewer.
  6. Final Decision
    Editor akan memberikan keputusan akhir berdasarkan hasil review dan revisi penulis.
  7. Copyediting and Layout
    Naskah yang diterima akan masuk tahap copyediting, layout editing, dan proofreading.
  8. Publication
    Artikel akan dipublikasikan pada edisi jurnal yang telah ditentukan.

Waktu proses review secara keseluruhan biasanya berlangsung selama 2–4 minggu, tergantung pada proses revisi oleh penulis dan reviewer.

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Innovative Information Systems (JIIS) will undergo a peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of the articles. The journal uses a Double-Blind Peer Review method, in which both reviewers and authors remain anonymous to ensure an objective evaluation process.

The manuscript review process consists of the following stages:

  1. Submission
    Authors submit manuscripts through the journal system.
  2. Initial Editorial Review
    The editor checks the manuscript for suitability with the journal focus and scope, template compliance, and plagiarism screening.
  3. Peer Review Process
    The manuscript is sent to at least two reviewers who have expertise in the relevant field.
  4. Review Decision
    Reviewers provide recommendations:
    • Accepted
    • Minor Revision
    • Major Revision
    • Rejected
  5. Revision Stage
    Authors revise the manuscript based on reviewer comments.
  6. Final Decision
    The editor makes the final decision based on reviewer recommendations and author revisions.
  7. Copyediting and Layout Editing
    Accepted manuscripts will go through copyediting, layout editing, and proofreading.
  8. Publication
    The article will be published in the scheduled journal issue.

The overall review process typically takes 2–4 weeks, depending on the revision process by the authors and reviewers.
