As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
The paper must be original research and has not been submitted/published earlier in any journal. It will be checked for plagiarism by using Turnitin.
Before submitting the paper, the author is required to be registered as an author. The paper should be submitted as Microsoft Word files (doc or docx) and written following the template of Lontar Komputer with around 9 to 12 pages (A4 size). Please use 2,5 cm margin on all sides, single-spaced and 11-point Calibri font.
All manuscripts must include, in the following order: (1) Title Page, (2) Abstract and Keywords in Indonesian, (3) Abstract and Keywords in English, (4) Introduction, (5) Research Methods, (6) Results and Discussion, (7) Conclusion, and (8) References. For manuscripts containing tables and figures, ensure that their quality and size are sufficient to produce good print quality. (See Template)
The title page should include: Title, Author Name, Institution, Correspondence Author
The title of the article is written using Calibri Bold 14pt font and should not exceed 12 words by capitalizing the beginning of each word (except for conjunctions). The title should reflect the content of the manuscript. It is recommended to use abbreviations and formulas that are not widely recognized.
All author names are written below the title of the article using 10pt calibri font and are given superscript letters to identify the author's address and order.
The author's institution is written below all author names complete with address. This includes email and telephone numbers preceded by superscript letters corresponding to the author's name.
The abstract should be informative and briefly describe the work to be discussed in the paper, as well as provide a concise summary of the findings. It should be between 150 and 250 words in length.
List 3–5 keywords separated by commas (,) below the abstract. The keywords should be the words that best reflect the content of the paper. The abstract is written in two languages, first in Indonesian and then in English.
The introduction should include background information, problems, and proposed solutions. It is also recommended to explain recent developments, including previous works. Bibliographic citations should use Mendeley in APA format. Words in foreign languages (other than English) should be written in italics.
Contains explanations of practical steps in conducting research and an overview of the system. Each table and figure must be accompanied by a caption with a number. Equations are written using an equation editor and numbered sequentially.
Results and discussion present the findings of the research and their analysis. They can be explained using tables, descriptions, graphs, or figures.
This section contains a summary of the main topics discussed or a recap of the research problem and recommends new areas for future research.
All references must be cited in the paper. The reference list must be formatted using the Mendeley reference tool. At least 80% of the references must be from journals, and 80% of those must have been published within the last five years. References are numbered using square brackets to enclose the number, such as [1], [2], and so on (use Mendeley in APA format for ease of use).
The Editors reserves the right to make some adjustment to the format for uniformity. Authors will receive notification from Editor if (1) a paper is accepted for publication, (2) the writer needs to do some revisions and resubmit the revised paper, (3) papers are rejected. Any changes made to the revised paper should be put on a list. If the submitted paper is in a major correction, the revised should be resubmitted within 2 weeks and it will be 1 week for the minor.
The author must make sure that the paper's sentence structure, integrity, and accuracy of any text, tables, and images have been revised completely. A paper not written according to the guidelines will be returned to the author for format adjustment.
The Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, the copyright of the article shall be assigned to JIIS as the publisher of the journal. Copyright encompasses exclusive rights to reproduce and deliver the article in all forms and media, as well as translations. The reproduction of any part of this journal (printed or online) will be allowed only with written permission from JIIS. The Editorial Board of JIIS makes every effort to ensure that no wrong or misleading data, opinions, or statements be published in the journal
